Account
Create a profile.
Profiles are required before anyone can comment on the studio journal. New Era does not accept anonymous comments, drive-by posts, or public replies that are not tied to an account.
Why profiles
Comments should have a little weight.
The journal can stay open to thoughtful conversation without becoming a loose comment wall. Profiles make comments easier to moderate, easier to follow up on, and cleaner for readers.
Named profile: comments are tied to a display name instead of being anonymous.
Review first: comments are reviewed before any public use.
Account history: future comments can stay connected to the same profile.
Respectful boundaries: spam, impersonation, and throwaway replies do not belong in the journal.
Profile access
Self-serve accounts need the backend layer.
The public comment gate is active now. Self-serve registration, sign-in, profile storage, and comment publishing need the account database and moderation API connected before they can open.
